Rockingham City are pleased to announce that Mitch Firth has signed ahead of the 2019 National Premier League WA season.
Speaking on joining Rockingham, Firth said, “I signed for Rocky because I believe the forward thinking approach and the professional standards set by the club and the coaching staff will improve me as a player.” On what Firth is looking forward to next season, “I am looking forward to playing good football at NPL level for the upcoming season and into the future.”
Rockingham City first team coach Cameron Lord spoke highly of Firth, “Whenever you play against teams you always identify certain individual players with good qualities during the course of a match, and that was certainly the case when we played Mandurah last season. Within that, sometimes you then think about how they would contribute to your own side and what they would add, and I am pleased that I no longer have to think about it as a “what if” with Mitch and that he has committed to RCFC. I believe that Mitch will enjoy his time at Rockingham with the style of football we will be looking to take into the NPL next year.”
Welcome to Rockingham City Mitch!
